Tyissha (Ty) began her journey into photography while in college. The process of creating beautiful images produced a yearning inside to do it herself.
Upon attaining her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Mass Media from the University District of Columbia, she began photographing landscapes and landmarks. Not really sure if she wanted to photograph people professionally, and in spite of looming scepticism, her mother booked her first wedding job.
Of course like anyone starting out, Ty was nervous and was not sure what to expect. Once everything was delivered to her client she felt at ease. The clients loved their photos! What Ty enjoys most about photography is that it allows her to be creative. She is able to capture photos that tell a story and Ty especially enjoys when a client is touched by them. She does not place limits on what she photographs as she has now photographed historic events to include celebrities, weddings, maternity photos and even the President of the United States. Ty has been blessed with a special gift that allows her to see some special things through the lens of her camera.
